First Look Inside The New and Only Texas Glossier Store

Glossier lands in Texas! The beauty brand that has always simply been online with pop-up stores happening from time to time is now finally opening permanent retail locations. 11 stores are currently open in Atlanta, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, DC, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, NYC, Philadelphia and Seattle. Dallas is lucky number 12 and it’s now open! We got an early look at the store and we’re taking you inside!

About Glossier

Glossier CEO Emily Weiss probably didn’t realize that her idea to create a beauty brand for people who are sweatshirt people would be a billion-dollar idea, but here we are! The company launched in 2014 with only four products: a moisturizer, face mist, skin tint and lip balm. Now, the brand isn’t just for people who wear sweatpants but it’s even made its way to the red carpet. Celebrities like Taraji P. Henson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Greta Gerwig, SZA, Chrissy Teigen, Selma Hayek and even Beyoncé have all graced the carpet in Glossier products.

The success of Glossier might be Weiss’s background in the beauty industry, but the fact that the company is more concerned with creating a memorable experience than pushing sales probably has a lot to do with it. Weiss knew the new generation of influencers was coming and she got ahead of the game. Glossier is now worth over $1.2 billion dollars and has made its way to consumer households, influencer feeds and, as mentioned, celebrity red carpets.

In 2022, Glossier underwent many changes. CEO and founder Emily Weiss stepped down, they named their first celebrity brand ambassador, Olivia Rodrigo and they started selling select products through TJ Maxx. In early 2023, Glossier also began selling products through Sephora.com and later selling in actual Sephora stores.

Here is your first look inside the Glossier New Dallas store!

Glossier couldn’t have picked a better location. The store is located inside North Park Mall in Dallas. North Park has it all: diverse shopping, entertainment, restaurants and now a Glossier store. The store is located directly in front of the Macy’s so you can’t miss it!

Walking into Glossier Dallas is like walking into a minimalist art supply store. There are drawers of Cloud Paint and eyeliner pencils, and they’re so satisfying to open and close. You just want to touch everything!

The one thing I love about the fact that there’s finally a Glossier store in Texas is that you can see and touch all their products. Online shopping is great and all but you can’t color match online, smell their perfume or see what shade works best with your skin. The store has a specific section that looks like a personal vanity with all their products in front of you. We’re not sure if there’ll be a makeup artist to help you match or if you’ll be free to play around with the products on your own but either way, it’s one of the things we’re excited about most.

Speaking of things we’re excited about! Glossier recently announced two new perfumes. Glossiers original perfume Glossier You has been a popular bestseller for years, with a bottle sold every 40 seconds level popular. What makes You so special? The formula is created and designed to feel like it’s adapting to the person wearing it. The problem has always been that you can’t smell it before you buy it but now you can. Make sure to check out their new scents, Réve and Doux while you’re at the store.

Now it’s time for our honest review. Will this stop you from ordering your Glossier products online? No. Is it great to be able to test products before you buy them? Absolutely. Will this save you time if you run out of a product and need a quick replacement? Definitely. We think anyone who’s a fan of Glossier and their products is going to want to check out their store. It’s an experience and the embodiment of the brand you love come to life.
