New Biopic Alert! Boyz II Men Set To Bring Their Journey To Stardom To The Big Screen

Iconic and chart-topping R&B group Boyz II Men are the latest celebs to have their musical journey displayed on the big screen. According to Variety, group members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanyá Morris have recently partnered with Compelling Pictures and Primary Wave to highlight their road to success and how they’ve made a lasting impact on the music industry.

Outside of the biopic being produced by Denis O’Sullivan and Jeff Kalligheri for Compelling Pictures, Larry Mestel from Primary Wave, Joe Mulvihill of the Mulvi Group, and Jeremy M. Rosen from Roxwell Films, the bandmates will also have their hands involved in the creation of the project, serving as executive producers.

“We’ve been waiting to find the right partners who understand our story and are willing to tell it all. Denis and Jeff at Compelling Pictures understood us day one.” Morris said.

Despite the film being in early development stages, there have been plenty of talks between the producers, writers, and directors about carefully crafting the biopic to ensure that details about the group’s life are displayed accurately. In addition to the upcoming movie, Compelling Pictures is also creating a documentary that gives a deep dive into the group’s cultural influence and musical legacy that still lives on to this day. Together, these projects aim to shed light on the highs and lows Boyz II Men experienced throughout their careers.

The group first stepped on the scene in the 1980s and quickly rose to international fame with their blend of heartfelt lyrics, undeniable vocals, and polished performances. Known for their ability to capture fans’ attention and appeal to a broader audience, the group became one of the best-selling R&B groups of all time, scoring four Grammy Awards and breaking records with their hits.
