George Miller ‘Huckleberry’ Fox death: Terms of Endearment child star has died aged 50
Former actor George Miller “Huckleberry” Fox has died at the age of 50.
Fox was best known for playing the role of Debra Winger and Jeff Daniels’ youngest son in Terms of Endearment. He died on November 3 in Washington, DC.
His death was confirmed by Potter Funeral Service in Massachusetts cause of death was not listed.

The public obituary states that Fox’s “most memorable cinematic moment” was his emotional scene in the Academy Award-winning film.
In the 1983 film, he tearfully farewells his mother in a showstopping performance. He was only 10 years old at the time.
The star was also known for his roles in Misunderstood, Konrad, and the Disney film The Blue Yonder.

When he decided to leave Hollywood, Fox began studying at New York University before continuing his education at Cornell University, where he earned a master’s degree in animal science.
Fox later earned a doctorate from the University of Florida in plant medicine.
He would work as a scientist and diplomat for the US Department of Agriculture.
He is survived by his wife Mercy, two sons, five siblings and his parents.
