Well, one such Bollywood actor who has time and again proved his mettle in the industry through grey shades is none other than Prem Chopra. He is one of the most formidable villains of Hindi cinema who managed to make females go weak in the knees with his charming looks. He also carved a niche for himself in Bollywood and Punjabi cinema. He entered the industry with aspirations of becoming a hero but gained a lot of attention with his negative roles. Yes, the two were connected through their wives, Krishna Malhotra and Uma Malhotra, who were sisters.

In one of his interviews, the actor revealed that when he started his career, he wanted to be a hero. He said that after working in the industry, he eventually gained recognition for his negative roles. He did play hero roles in Punjabi films, but the movies did not get him much appreciation as they became flops. If reports are to be believed then, Hema Malini who shared screen space with Prem Chopra in several films would tremble whenever he looked in her direction. She revealed that during the shoot of the film Raja Jani, she felt quite nervous while working with him.
On the personal front, Prem who got married to Uma, the sister of actor and director Raj Kapoor’s wife, Krishna is parents to three daughters: Rakita, Punita, and Prerna. His daughters did not choose acting as a career. Prem Chopra’s youngest son-in-law is Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi.
