AFL star and Brisbane Lions player Tom Doedee announces his engagement to partner of ten years Emily Brugman
AFL star Tom Doedee is engaged to his longtime sweetheart!
The Brisbane Lions player, 27, proposed to his partner of 10 years, Emily Brugman, in a stunning beachside proposal.
The smitten pair announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post, with Doedee presenting his bride-to-be with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring and joking that the proposal was “well overdue”.

“Well overdue, but good things come to those who wait 💍,” he wrote in the post, underneath a series of pictures of the pair together by the water.
“Here’s to forever with you @emilybrugman 🤍,” he sweetly added.
Caitlin Cameron, who is married to AFL star and Brisbane Lions player Charlie Cameron, commented underneath: “Huge congratulations! <3.”

Her ring appeared to be an oval-cut diamond set on a thin gold band.
The couple, who are believed to have started dating in 2014, recently enjoyed travelling around Europe together.
On their travels, they visited cities including London, Paris and Rome.

In March, Brugman shared a sweet tribute to her partner for his birthday calling him “pure sunshine”.
She wrote in her post: “Wholesome weekend for the birthday boy, aka the pure sunshine in my life ☀️🤍.”

He also called his partner “an absolute gem of a human” in his birthday tribute to her as she turned 26 last year.
On their fourth anniversary back in 2018, he joked online: “Four years down. Keep up the good work @EmilyBrugman.”
