Apple tossed a popular device onto the ‘obsolete’ trash heap — if you have one, customer support is now a problem

It was a highly anticipated product when it made its debut, thanks to added waterproofing and built-in GPS.

However, a more expensive, ceramic version of the second-generation Apple Watch Series 2, which retailed for $369, has not made the list yet, so Apple should still provide services for the product.

Meanwhile, the only Apple Watch products listed on Apple’s “vintage” product list are the second-generation aluminum Apple Watch Series 1 in both sizes. Products are considered vintage when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than five but less than seven years ago.

Earlier this year, Apple put its last-ever iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle models on the obsolete list, as well as the iPhone 6.

The iPhone X Max and the iPhone 6s Plus have also been added to the vintage list.
