AR Rahman’s kids demand privacy as parents announce divorce

After a joint statement was shared by AR Rahman and Saira Banu’s team and it made its way to entertainment news, their kids took to social media to ask for privacy in this tough time. AR Rahman and Saira Banu’s daughter Raheema took to her Insta stories and wrote, “I would greatly appreciate it if this matter would be treated with utmost privacy and respect. Thank you for your consideration.” Similarly, Khatija also asked her fans and followers to grant them the privacy in this time. She thanked all for understanding. Saira Banu and AR Rahman also have a son named AR Rameen. He also took to social media to request for privacy. He even reposted the statement made by the ace musician about his divorce on social media. After the divorce announcement was made, AR Rahman took to his social media account and penned a note saying that he and Saira had hoped to reach the grand thirty but God seem to have had a different plan. His message read, “We had hoped to reach the grand thirty, but all things, it seems, carry an unseen end. Even the throne of God might tremble at the weight of broken hearts. Yet, in this shattering, we seek meaning, though the pieces may not find their place again. To our friends, thank you for your kindness and for respecting our privacy as we walk through this fragile chapter.”
