Jules Sebastian’s heartbreaking tribute as she reveals her beloved dad has died: ‘To say I loved my dad is the world’s greatest understatement’
Guy Sebastian’s wife Jules Sebastian has shared her heartache this week over the loss of her beloved father.
The stylist shared a moving post about her late dad, including pictures from her childhood of them together and them together on her wedding day as she said her dad “went to heaven to be with the angels”.
“Our hearts are broken but also so full of gratitude for the time we had with him in the last days of his life,” she wrote.

After saying her dad always had a “twinkle in his eye,” Jules went on to say how loved her was by everyone who crossed his path.
“There wasn’t a soul who knew him that didn’t love him. As this week has unfolded, I have been overwhelmed with how many people have described him as a ‘good man’. That he was. Just so good,” she said.
“What a privilege it was to be in the room as my Dad took his last breath on earth. I wish I had words to describe it, but it will have to remain as unexplainable and very special.”

She said her parents were married for a total of 51 years and called her mother “an angel on earth”.
“To say I loved my Dad is the world’s greatest understatement. He was the best Dad a daughter could ever hope for. I already miss him. Rest in eternal peace Daddy – give my big bro a squeeze from us,” she finished, adding an Irish flag on the post to represent his heritage.

Jules tragically lost her brother Andrew to suicide days after her wedding. She and singer Guy were on honeymoon in Italy when she got a call about her brother’s death.
She wrote about grief in her book and told 9honey at the time: “I wanted people to know that there isn’t an end to grief, and that there are so many phases to it.”
“You go along and it keeps coming back. I wrote that chapter and got to the end of it and thought, ‘I’m still actually in this’. I was a revelation to me. But there is honour in that, in honouring the person you once had and the thing you lost.”
