Big Sean Isn’t Pressured to Marry Jhené Aiko Despite Social Media Debates About Their Relationship
Big Sean says he will not be forced by social media to jump the broom with his longtime boo, Jhené Aiko.
Days ago, Sean and Aiko’s relationship was the topic of discussion when she flaunted a massive ring on her finger. Many assumed this was an engagement ring, which prompted debate about why Sean had taken so long to pop the question. Aiko quickly shut down the engagement talks, which only led to her fans dragging Sean yet again. After the ring debacle, TMZ caught up with Sean, who asked if he felt pressure to wed, to which he replied, “No, I didn’t.
“I don’t think too much about it, man. You know what, life is short, bro, so you got to do what you feel, you know what I’m saying,” the Detroit star shared.

Aiko and Sean have been together since 2016. They welcomed their son, Noah Hasani, in November 2022. The 36-year-old is also a mother to her 16-year-old daughter, Namiko Love. Despite their blended family, Sean told Charlamagne the God that “there needs to be more work done” before he could take that leap with Aiko. While he didn’t expound on the challenges of their relationship, he did praise his “Stay Ready” girlfriend during his brief TMZ chat.
“She is the best, though, I’ll tell you that,” Sean stated, adding, “Of course,” when asked if she was “The one.”
