Rishabh Shetty brings Kadamba Empire to life with a massive studio, deets inside

After the huge success of Kantara, Rishab Shetty fans are all excited about the prequel titled Kantara Chapter 1. The first film received critical acclaim as well as love from the audiences. So many are waiting to see what intriguing story the prequel has to offer. Shetty has been working on the film for quite some time now. Now, we have a major update on the movie and the way makers are doing their best to make it appear grand and perfect.

A Massive set is built for Kantara Chapter 1

Kantara Chapter 1 will feature the tale of the Kadamba Empire in detail. It’s understandable that an empire of this magnitude would require an enormous set. However, the makers were not able to find a studio large enough to build the big set required for the Rishab Shetty starrer. A source close to the film’s production team revealed that the makers decided to take matters into their own hands and have built a massive studio with stunning visuals of the Kadamba Empire.

Further in this entertainment news, the studio is built in the coastal town of Kundapur in Karnataka. A lot of effort is put into getting every intricate detail right on point. The studio’s grandiosity will definitely help the audience immerse themselves into the mythical and grand world in the prequel.

Meanwhile, Kantara: Chapter 1 is helmed and written by Rishab Shetty and produced by Hombale Films. It also stars Jayaram in the lead role. This year, the film also won the National Film Awards in the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment category. So far, only the first look of the prequel is unveiled. We can’t wait to see the makers share some more photos or promos of the film that will help us understand how magnificent the movie is going to be! The film is all set to hit theatres on October 2, 2025.
