‘I have just been a puppet…’ Abhishek Bachchan’s latest statement goes viral amid divorce rumours
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are the power couple of Bollywood. The two are in the news due to their ongoing divorce rumours. Neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya have not confirmed anything as of now. But, on several occasions the couple have hinted that something is not right between the two.
Abhishek Bachchan is spreading magic with his recently released film I Want To Talk which is directed by Shoojit Sircar. In an interview with Rediff.com, Abhishek spoke about how he approaches every character in his films. He said, ‘I hope every actor gets to do work that is going to be career-defining with every film they choose to do. That’s the attitude with which you should approach each and every one of your films. I’d like to do that with every film of mine. As far as where does the pain and suffering come from, we’re actors. This is what we do.’
Abhishek revealed how he is completely a director’s actor. He further added saying, ‘We listen to the direction given to us by our director, in this case, Shoojitda (Sircar). The entire credit I have to give him. I’ve just been a puppet in his hands’.
Speaking to ETimes, the actor said, ‘What I’d like to thank Shoojit Da for is, and I hope you all can find some sort of parallel in your own life, you know, we’re all stuck in the rut of life’. Abhishek has time and again expressed his gratitude towards Shoojit Sircar for giving him an opportunity to break away from the traditional Bollywood formula. He continued saying, ‘We’re doing what we’re doing, we’re enjoying it. Some of us have got a corporate job, some of us are artists, some of us do whatever we do. Life dictates to you what you should be doing and how you should be doing it’.
Apart from Abhishek, Pearle Dey, Ahilya Bamroo, Jayant Kripalani, Kristin Goddard, and Johny Lever are playing pivotal roles in I Want To Talk. While, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II.
