Don 3 on track, production house makes BIG statement regarding Ranveer Singh, Kiara Advani’s film
Don 3 starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani has been in the news since its inception. Initially, fabs were hoping that Shah Rukh Khan will return to the franchise and take the lead as Don. However that did not happen. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment then dropped a video introducing Ranveer Singh as the new Don. Not all were happy with it. Fans were of an opinion that the actor may not be able to live upto the craze set by Shah Rukh Khan. But then there are many who are excited to see Ranveer taking forward the legacy and being the new Don. Today, the film once again grabbed attention as rumours of it getting postponed hit headlines.
Don 3 is right on track
Since morning, gossip mills are abuzz with the rumours suggesting that Don 3 has been postponed. Kiara Advani plays the leading lady in the film opposite Ranveer Singh. Rumours had it that due to budget constraints, the film may get postponed or even shelved. However now there is a clarification from the production house. Don 3 has neither been postponed nor shelved. A spokesperson from Excel Entertainment said “The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timelines of Don 3 remain unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true,” in a press note as reported by entertainment news section of Hindustan Times. Further adding that the production house remains ambitious about Don 3 and is focused on bringing a great cinematic experience for the audience with the film. Well, this sets the record straight. Don 3 is right on track and Ranveer will be taking the franchise forward.
Ranveer Singh was recently seen in Singham Again along with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. The film turned out to be a blockbuster hit. It clashed with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and yet it did well at the box office.
