Akhil Akkineni, Zainab Ravdjee trolled for nine-year age gap, actor disables comments
The Akkineni family is currently on cloud nine. They were already busy preparing for Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding. However, now they have another reason to celebrate. We all saw that recently, Naga Chaitanya’s brother Akhil Akkineni also got engaged to Zainab Ravdjee. Nagarjuna had shared a post welcoming Zainab to the family. The pictures of their engagement ceremony came out really beautiful and it was a private ceremony with just family members.
Sharing the pretty pictures, Nagarjuna wrote, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son @AkhilAkkineni8 to our future daughter-in-law Zainab Ravdjee! We are excited to welcome Zainab into our family. Join us in wishing the couple a life filled with love and happiness.”

Akhil and Zainab’s love story is no less than a fairy tale. They met during a horse-riding session and reportedly developed a close bond soon. There is a big age gap between them. Akhil is 30 while Zainab is 39. She is an artist and has her roots in India, Dubai and London.
Her father, Zulfi Ravdjee has connections with the film industry and even with politicians. He once owned Hyderabad’s iconic Odeon Theater which is now a multiplex. She is the perfect addition to the Akkineni family. However, there are many who have been trolling the couple.
As Akhil posted their engagement photos, many trolled the couple for their age gaps. They faced a lot of backlash and hence, Akhil disabled his comments section on Instagram to avoid negativity.
Sharing his engagement pictures, Akhil wrote, “Found my forever Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”

After their engagement was announced, it was being reported that they will get married on the same day when Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will marry. However, Nagarjuna later clarified that Akhil and Zainab’s marriage will happen in 2025.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita will get married on December 4 this year.
