Okayplayer House Debuts at Art Basel Miami

Okayplayer is making its Art Basel debut with the Okayplayer House, a day-long celebration of Afro-diasporic music, art, and culture at Red Rooster Overtown. In partnership with BET’s Content for Change, the event will explore the global impact of Black storytelling through exhibits, panels, and performances.

Highlights include an exclusive exhibit by hip-hop photographer Danny Hastings, the premiere of BET’s documentary “For the Love of Hip Hop,” and a panel on The Global Impact of Black Culture, featuring Yvonne Orji, Kimberly Paige, and TJ Adeshola. Attendees can also enjoy live tapings of The Almanac of Rap podcast with Hastings and Grammy winner Derrick Milano, followed by an evening Supper Club dinner and an international DJ set by Jason Panton.
