Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in Delhi in 2015. It was one of those rare moments when a celebrity marries someone in an arranged marriage setup. At that time, Mira was just 21 years old. Shahid Kapoor stated that arranged marriage is the best thing that happened to him, as he found the best life partner in Mira. “When we got married, I thought that I would have to protect her because she is this 20-year-old girl who’s just coming from Delhi. And this is a big bad world of movies and glamour, and everybody is so judgy,” said the Ishq Vishk actor.
Further in this entertainment news, Shahid revealed that Mira Rajput is more protective of him. Kapoor said how his wife realised he is socially more comfortable and got comfortable with the parties he used to attend for years. He was amazed at how she got more comfortable than him eventually. The actor described his wife as a solid, confident, and intelligent person. He also called her stubborn.

Meanwhile, it has been 9 years since Shahid and Mira got married. In 2016, they became parents to Misha and welcomed their second child, Zain, in 2018. The actor dated Kareena Kapoor Khan for many years but they broke up in 2007. On the work front, Shahid was last seen in the movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which also featured Kriti Sanon in the lead role. Kapoor will be next seen in Rosshan Andrews Deva. The action thriller also stars Pooja Hedge and Pavail Gulati and will hit theatres on January 31, 2025.
