Abhijeet Bhattacharya is currently in the news as the singer shared his disappointment over Dua Lipa’s performance in Mumbai. The international singer was recently in Mumbai for a concert and she made everyone cheer as she performed on ‘Levitating x Woh Ladki Jo’ on stage. The song sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya that featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Badshah became the talk of the town again. Abhijeet Bhattacharya got miffed as he wasn’t given the credit and rather it was termed as a Shah Rukh Khan song. In a latest interview, he spoke about how it is the voice that is remembered.

In an interview with news agency ANI, Abhijeet Bhattacharya also spoke at length about his alleged fallout with Shah Rukh Khan. The ace singer remarked that he felt under-valued and hence he decided to not sing for the superstar. He added that he wasn’t singing for the star but for his work. Further adding, “But when I saw that they were acknowledging everyone–like a tea vendor who serves tea on set–but not acknowledging the singer, I felt, ‘Why should I be your voice?”
Abhijeet Bhattacharya who has voiced many songs for Shah Rukh Khan then also spoke about the actor’s stardom and statement is viral in entertainment news. He mentioned that his relationship with King Khan is not broken, however, he feels that Shah Rukh Khan is ‘now such a huge star that he’s no longer just a human being’. The singer shared that probably even the star does not realise the kind of stardom he has attained. Abhijeet Bhattacharya also spoke about having egos and no need for apologising when asked if there was a possibility of reconciliation. He was quoted saying, “There was no need for anyone to apologize. Both of us have egos. Our birthdays are just a day apart; we are both Scorpios. But I’m the bigger Scorpio. I don’t need him or his support.”
