Pushpa 2: Man threatens theatre owner

On December 5, 2024, during one of the shows at a theatre in Telangana, a theatre failed to screen Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. The incident took place in the Macherial district’s Chennur town. A man named Bajjuri Vinay got furious when the Srinivas theatre failed to screen the action thriller. Vinay lost his cool and threatened the theatre owner with killing him. Further in this entertainment news, as reported by ANI, Bajjuri Vijay reportedly damaged Srinivas theatre’s glass window panes. After protesting in the theatre premises, he threatened to kill the owner named Rajamalla Goud if they don’t start the movie. The news of a man threatening a theatre owner has come just a day after a woman lost her life during the Hyderabad screening. As Allu Arjun arrived at the screening, the crowd lost its control at the Sandhya Theatre, causing a stampede. A 35-year-old woman lost her life and her 9-year-old is admitted to the hospital and is quite critical. A complaint has been filed against the theatre, along with Arjun in the case.

In a statement, Pushpa 2 production house, Mythri Movie Makers, shared a statement regarding the same. “We are extremely heartbroken by the tragic incident during last night’s screening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the young child undergoing medical treatment.We are committed to standing by them and extending all possible support during this difficult time,” mentioned the statement.
