Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly shares ‘nothing to prove’ post amid stepdaughter Esha Verma controversy

Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly has been in the news for all wrong reasons. Her personal life has been the most talked about one. We all saw how her stepdaughter Esha Verma made serious allegations against her through social media posts. She shared that Rupali is a toxic woman who broke their family. She also revealed that Rupali used to steal her mother, Sapna Verma’s jewellery and used to sleep in her and father’s room. For the unversed, Rupali’s husband, Ashwin Verma was married twice before he had Rupali in his life. Esha shared that Rupali and Ashwin used to bully her and Rupali used to give strange medications to Ashwin as well. Esha even brought Rupali and Ashwin’s son, Rudransh Verma in this. She said that Rudransh is their illegitimate child. This left the Anupama star furious and she filed a Rs 50 crore defamation case against Esha. Sana Raees Khan is her lawyer and Esha made her Instagram account private and even deleted posts related to Rupali. Rupali Ganguly’s cryptic post

Esha then reacted to the defamation case and explained that she never involved Rudransh who is a minor but just stated facts that Rupali, Ashwin married in February 2013 and had their first child in the same year in August. She also said that the defamation case was ‘disturbing, cruel, and displayed their true character’. She wrote, “To address one important point: a child should not be punished for speaking their truth. Despite being a young adult, I am still my father’s child. Their response to my statement was disturbing, cruel, and displayed their true character. I was not just a random individual speaking out but someone who was directly affected as a member of their family.”

Now, Rupali has shared a cryptic post on social where she spoke about ‘nothing to prove’. The post read, “Learn to be okay with people who don’t know your side of the story. You have to prove nothing to anyone.”

Ashwin and Sapna got married in 1997 and separated in 2008. Post that in 2013, Ashwin married Rupali Ganguly.
