Bill Belichick makes red carpet appearance with Jordon Hudson
It was a night at the museum for Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
The pair stepped out on the red carpet for The Museum Gala held at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan on Thursday night.
The occasion marked the first time that the football coach and his ex-college cheerleader girlfriend walked the carpet for a major event.
Belichick, 72, wore a black tux, while Hudson, 24, sported a black floor-length gown.
The couple posed for pictures on the red carpet before they moved on, People reported.
Belichick and Hudson’s relationship first made headlines over the summer, three years after they first met on a flight together.
They quietly began dating after Belichick split with longtime girlfriend Linda Holiday.
Thursday’s event on the Upper West Side featured dinner, an auction and a musical performance by Arcade Fire.
Individual ticket prices started at $1,000 for the event, and “proceeds from the evening help support the Museum’s educational and scientific programming,” according to the museum’s website.
Belichick’s red carpet jaunt occurred on the same day that reports surfaced that the ex-NFL coach had met with the University of North Carolina officials about its vacant head coaching position.
The six-time Super Bowl champion coach is said to be one of several candidates going for the position.
While many football observers expected Belichick to make a play for a head coaching job in 2025, the fact that he interviewed for a college coaching position caught some by surprise.
Belichick’s age and his lack of experience in college football could play a factor in any decision the school makes.
Belichick coached 24 seasons in New England before the coach and Patriots opted to part ways after last season.
