Bridget Jones: ‘Mad About The Boy’ trailer released as Renée Zellweger and Hugh Grant return to the iconic franchise
It’s official – Bridget Jones is back!
The new trailer for the fourth and final installment of the iconic and fan-favourite franchise has been released.
In Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, actress Renée Zellweger, 55, returns as journalist and hopeless romantic Bridget Jones – but this time as she navigates life as a single mother and widow.

Joining the cast are actors Leo Woodall, who stars as one of Jones’ new love interests, as well as Isla Fisher and Chiwetel Ejiofor, another romantic interest for Jones.
The plot follows the storyline of the book of the same name by best-selling author Helen Fielding.
After readers and fans followed Jones’ journey to find love with the charming and well-off Mr. Darcy (played in the films by Colin Firth), this book deals a heartbreaking blow as the human rights lawyer and Jones is left picking up the pieces and trying to date.

The trailer for the highly-anticipated film begins by informing fans Mr. Darcy is gone, as Firth can be seen for a final time in character.
“In life, there are memories that will never leave us,” as footage plays of Jones and Mr. Darcy walking on a London street.
“But sometimes those memories are suddenly all we are left with.”
Fans are then introduced to her two new potential love interests, and Jones signs up for Tinder.

“Bridget Jones, it’s time to live,” Jones says in the trailer as she moves on from Mr. Darcy.
Making a triumphant return to the franchise is Hugh Grant in his role as the charming lothario Daniel Cleaver.
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will be in Australian cinemas on February 13.
