British DJ Fat Tony shares a clip revealing shocking facial injuries after allegedly being attacked in the middle of a gig

DJ Fat Tony has taken to social media to share that he has been forced to postpone an upcoming gig after he was allegedly attacked at a performance over the weekend.

The British house musician and LGBTQIA+ activist, whose real name is Tony Manarch, posted a video to his social media revealing his shocking facial injuries that he claims were obtained when he was allegedly attacked in the DJ booth by a fellow DJ.

”Just a quick one because I can’t really go into details, but I was attacked last night at a gig, in the DJ box by another DJ funnily enough,” he claimed in the clip.

Manarch claimed the attack had resulted in him being knocked out and taken to the hospital where he spent “all night” in the emergency room.

“Obviously you can see the damage to my face and the swelling, it’s not good,” he continued.

In the clip, Manarch has a black eye and the whole left side of his face is noticeably swollen and bruised.

“I just want to let you know that obviously I can’t be at my gigs tonight… I’ve been advised obviously to stay at home and get well,” he added.

“I’m absolutely gutted, I’m gutted this happened, I’m gutted that people choose violence especially when what we do comes from a place of love.”

In the caption of the post, Manarch shared that he “will be OK” and is “on the mend” but the evening’s gigs would be cancelled due to his doctor’s advice to rest.

“I know some of you have had this night out in your diaries for a long time and this is last minute – I really am so sorry,” he wrote.

“I will make it up to you all in the new year. Happy Christmas everyone, take care of yourselves.”

He added that the event would be rescheduled to January 25, saying, “I can’t wait to see you all there and party together.”

Later over the weekend, Manarch shared an update with his followers, thanking fans for the “thousands of messages of love and support.”

“I’m OK just in a lot of pain and and swollen,” he wrote in the caption, adding that he is at home with his dogs and being taken care of by his partner Stavros Agapiou.

“I can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of support,” he repeated. “Remember you can’t keep a good man down x.”

In the video, he said that he was checking in to give fans a “quick face update.”

”As you can see, the swelling’s coming out and everything,” he said. “I’m OK though.

“I just want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the most incredible hundreds of thousands of messages I’ve received.”

He revealed that he does have “blurred vision,” once again thanking his fans for their support.

“Thank you so much. Really, I’m overwhelmed,” he said. “Things happen in life, that’s life, you know, the police are doing what they need to do and the situation will be sorted.

“But, you know, all I want to say for now is thank you. Thank you for the love and positivity and, you know, another day right! Let’s get on with it.”
