Flavor Flav Surprised With Custom-Made Clock From The U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team

The holidays are for heartwarming moments and Flavor Flav has just set the bar HIGH!

On Friday, Flav appeared at the Los Angeles Jingle Ball concert alongside the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team superstars Ashleigh Johnson and Maggie Steffens. The night took a sentimental turn when Johnson and Steffens surprised the iconic rapper with a custom-made clock, honoring his contributions at the Paris Olympics earlier this year. The moment had more meaning than his presence at the international competition, if you’re unaware, Flav is known to wear an oversized clock around his neck.

“I get emotional every time I see my Water Polo girls, but this was something special,” Flav wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “They had me crying real tears for about 10 minutes. We had to stop the press.”

He continued, “I do things just to spread love and joy and support others, and I don’t expect anything in return. The Paris Olympics was the highlight of my year, and I was so happy to be able to help so many people out. I think we all won gold. But to get a Gold Medal clock and to be recognized by people who mean so much to me is the greatest Christmas present and gift in life.”

Despite the Paris Games ending, Flav’s time at the Olympics isn’t over. Following his sponsorship of the U.S. Women’s and Men’s Water Polo Teams, Flav announced that he will be involved in the 2028 L.A. Olympic Games. For the Public Enemy rapper, the event isn’t just about sports and competition, but connection and celebration as well. With his constant support of the Games, it’s safe to say that Flav is set to attract more attention to the event than before.
