The movie during which Karisma Kapoor was shivering while filming the kissing scene was Raja Hindustani. Directed by Dharmesh Darshan, the 1996 film also stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. In the movie, Karisma and Aamir have a kissing scene, which comes at a crucial moment in the story. The scene was shot in Ooty in February and it was cold. Hence, the actress couldn’t stop shivering and the actors had to take 47 retakes to get the right shot. It was also Kapoor’s first on-screen scene.

Meanwhile, Raja Hindustani was made on a budget of Rs 6 crore. However, when the film was released, it became a big blockbuster and earned Rs 78 crore.
