Logan Paul pranked the BBC by sending a lookalike to his interview in Puerto Rico
Former Vine star Logan Paul has pranked the BBC during what was intended to be a serious interview.
BBC journalist Matt Shea spent months chasing down Paul for an interview, after an investigation led him to believe that Paul may have profited from misleading fans regarding crypto currency, however Paul denies any wrongdoing.
Eventually, the Youtuber unexpectedly agreed to sit down with Shea in a Puerto Rico boxing studio owned by his brother, Jake Paul.

In a piece published by the BBC recounting the encounter, they shared that at that moment, a group of people showed up with banners and megaphones, shouting that “the BBC were ‘paedophiles’.”
“We had flown all that way just to be trolled,” they wrote.
According to the BBC, minutes after they were made aware that Paul had abandoned the interview, they received a lawyer’s letter on behalf of the influencer, “warning us of the possible consequences if we published our findings.”
Shea and his team were working on their documentary Logan Paul: Bad Influence? which premiered on Wednesday, November 20.
