Megan Thee Stallion Files Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez, Alleges Continued Harassment from Prison
Megan Thee Stallion has filed a request for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, alleging he is continuing to harass her from prison, TMZ reports. Tory, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California for shooting Megan in 2020, is accused of orchestrating a campaign of defamatory attacks through third-party bloggers.
In court documents filed Tuesday, Megan claims that Tory employs individuals, including Elizabeth Milagro Cooper—a blogger she previously sued—to spread false narratives and defamatory statements about her. Megan states that prison phone call logs reveal conversations between Tory and his father, during which payments to Cooper were allegedly discussed in connection to her ongoing harassment.
In the filing, Megan describes the ongoing harassment as “psychological warfare,” the outlet reports.
Tory Lanez is currently appealing his conviction, and Megan believes his continued efforts to publicly discredit her are part of his strategy to secure early release. She has requested that the court issue a restraining order to prohibit Tory from contacting, harassing, or intimidating her—directly or through third parties.
