NFL Week 14 picks, odds, bets

Los Angeles Chargers (+4) over KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The Chiefs’ Houdini act has to come to an end sometime soon.

Kansas City once again escaped with a ‘W’ in a game it should’ve lost last week, this time as the two-win Raiders blew a chance at a game-winning field goal with a late bad snap.

It’ll be much harder to pull off their magic tricks Sunday against the Chargers.

After starting out 3-3, Jim Harbaugh and Co. have hit their stride, winning five of their last six games, falling only to the Ravens.

The Chargers’ defense is one of the best in the NFL, and the MVP-like breakout for Justin Herbert, who has thrown for 2,551 yards with 13 touchdowns and just one interception, may finally be here.

Even if the Chiefs can keep up their one-score sorcery, the Chargers may still get the cover.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if the underdogs win this outright.

Buffalo Bills (-4) over LOS ANGELES RAMS

The Bills are cruising, winning seven in a row and scoring at least 30 points in six straight.

One game after handing the Chiefs their first loss, the Bills took care of the injury-riddled 49ers in the snow with a 25-point blowout.

The Rams’ playoff chances, on the other hand, are hanging by a thread.

Over the past four games, they’ve had one-score wins over the lowly Saints and Patriots and taken losses to the Eagles and Dolphins.

Betting on the NFL?

After going scoreless in the first half, it took three second-half TDs to eke out the win over New Orleans.

They also allowed 382 total yards to the Pats, which was a season high at the time.

Not exactly convincing. Bet on the Bills to continue their steamroll of the league.

Last week: 1-1. Titans (L), Panthers (W)
Season: 3-7.
