One of Diddy’s Anonymous Lawsuit Accusers Revealed as Anna Kane, Ex-Wife of NHL Player Evander Kane

An update on the ongoing sexual assault lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs has emerged.

Court documents obtained by TMZ have revealed that one of the anonymous accusers is Anna Kane, the ex-wife of NHL player Evander Kane.

Kane originally sued the Bad Boy founder under the Jane Doe pseudonym but was recently ordered to reveal her identity if she wanted to continue her lawsuit.

The December 2023 filing also names former Bad Boy CEO Harve Pierre and a third unknown associate.

Kane’s lawsuit alleges that in 2003 when she was just 17 years old, Pierre invited her to meet Diddy on a private jet. She claims that after arriving in New York City from the Detroit area, she was given drugs and alcohol before being sexually assaulted by Diddy and others.

Kane’s lawsuit includes photos from the alleged meeting, where she claims Diddy assaulted her in a bathroom.

Diddy’s attorneys sought to have the lawsuit dismissed, arguing that the New York City-specific Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law (VGMVPL) was invalidated by the expiration of the statewide Child Victims Act in 2021. However, U.S. District Judge Jessica G. L. Clarke ruled that Kane’s case could proceed under the city’s law, allowing the claims to move forward while dismissing corporate entities Daddy’s House and Bad Boy Entertainment as defendants.

The judge also ruled that Kane must publicly reveal her identity to continue with the case. Kane complied, stating through her attorney, Doug Wigdor, that she remains committed to seeking justice.

“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Kane said in statement. “Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”
