PETA Claims Butterball Workers Sexually Abused Turkeys in Disturbing New Footage [Video]

A PETA investigator is bringing attention to a disturbing form of animal abuse that he claims to have witnessed inside a Butterball turkey plant.

In a new video released by the agency, the investigator, who remains anonymous by speaking from the shadows, alleges that he went undercover at a plant and witnessed employees sexually assaulting turkeys before they were slaughtered.

“One guy humped a shackled turkey one day, and another time another worker was putting his fingers in a turkey’s cloaca, which is basically her vagina, while the line was stopped,” he stated.

Throughout the video, footage of his time at the plant is shown. In one scene, a worker appears to be roughly handling a turkey, while in another, an employee says, “I kicked the f**k out of the motherf**ker.” In another shot, a worker is seen seemingly sitting on a turkey.

The location of this plant and the timing of the footage remain unclear. Unfortunately, PETA has made similar allegations against Butterball in the past. In 2017, the agency exposed the Ozark, Arkansas, Butterball “slaughterhouse,” accusing workers of abusing the many birds processed there. PETA alleged that employees kicked, threw, and essentially beat the live turkeys to death. Shockingly, that analysis also claimed that Butterball workers inserted their fingers into the vaginas of female turkeys.

The PETA agent hopes that this video will raise awareness and encourage people to reconsider consuming turkey, particularly with Thanksgiving approaching.

“If even one person sees this video and stops eating birds, it’ll be worth it,” he concluded at the end of the video.
