Pushpa 2 composer DSP slams producers amid controversy, ‘You’ve been blaming me…’
Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most awaited films of the year and it is already creating a lot of buzz among fans. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer Pushpa 2 has been grabbing all the attention and how. Before the mega release, Pushpa 2 was surrounded by controversy. Recently the team held a big pre-release event in Chennai, music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) got into an argument with film producers Naveen Yerneni, Mohan Cherukuri and Ravi Shankar.
DSP revealed how the producers especially Ravi were upset with him due to the reported delay in composing the film’s background score. Yes, you read that right! DSP was replaced by S Thaman, Sam CS and Ajaneesh Loknath. As per a report in News24, DSP addressed the entire controversy and has raised eyebrows. He said, ‘Ravi sir, you’ve been blaming me saying that I didn’t deliver the song or the background score on time. I know you love me. Where there is love, there are complaints as well. But, I think you have more complaints about me than love’.
He also slammed the producers as he took a dig at Ravi by saying, ‘I know what you want, no one gives anything to us unless we ask – be it remuneration or on-screen credit.’ The singer DSP thanked fans for making Pushpa 1 a blockbuster and expressed his gratitude towards them for making Pushpa 2 one of the biggest releases of the year. DSP said, ‘Thanks to all across the world for making Pushpa 1 a blockbuster. For everyone, God provides a great chance in their career’.
Pushpa 2 The Rule will be released in cinemas on December 5. The film will also star Rao Ramesh, Dhanunjay, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh in pivotal roles.
