Quincy Brown Discovers 1994 Birthday Card from Late Mom Kim Porter, Opens It on Her 54th Heavenly Birthday [Video]
Quincy Brown shared a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Kim Porter, on what would have been her 54th birthday, December 15.
In a video posted online, Quincy opened a sealed envelope from his mother, dated 1994.
“It is December 15th and I wanna wish my mother a happy, heavenly birthday,” he said. “Today is a full moon in Gemini. Queen of Sagittarius. My mom’s birthday. It’s crazy. It’s a lot going on. I had to rock this 11:11,” he added, reflecting on the special day.
Quincy explained that he had been visiting Columbus, Georgia, where he grew up, and discovered the envelope during one of his trips.
“On the latest episode of Quincy’s findings… I came across an envelope.” Inside, he found a $10 bill along with a note from his mom. “My Mom gave me my first ever dollar bill,” he said, showing the classic $10 note. “I was three years old, I was looking for the toys! You better off putting this in a toy. But I think it was meant for me to see this 30 years later… I don’t know, it’s crazy to me.”
Quincy’s emotional post was a reminder of his bond with his mom, who passed away from lobar pneumonia in 2018 at the age of 47.
“Happy birthday Mom, love you,” he concluded.
