Rashmika Mandanna defends her rowdy on-screen husbands Ranbir Kapoor and Allu Arjun; Reddit isn’t impressed
Rashmika Mandanna often gets asked interesting questions, thanks to her choice of movies. Last year, she was seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, in which she played Ranbir Kapoor’s husband. In the movie, RK and Rashmika’s marriage is quite toxic and he often gets abusive towards her. In Pushpa 2, she plays Srivalli, Allu Arjun’s on-screen wife.
Rashmika’s defense leaves Reddit unimpressed
On Instagram, Rashmika Mandanna has shared a viral meme on her story. In one part, we see Ranbir’s character Ranvijay telling her character not to comment on her father. In the second part, Pushpa Raj does his signature step using Srivalli’s leg. The text on the meme reads, “Someone Please Give Rashmika Mandanna A Normal Husband!”
The actress took to her Instagram story to share the meme and wrote, “Inside their hearts they are the most beautiful people!” and used laughing and heart emojis. The story screenshot made its way to Reddit and netizens are not pleased. On Reddit, one user wrote, “Rashmika has made some interesting choices – a Vanga heroine, then Pushpa’s Srivalli, next with Salman & in real life dating The Vijay Deverakonda.”
Another Redditor commented, “Thoda Bad Boy Era chal raha, btw I think VD is pretty innocent kinds in real life. Although, a lil Dumb definitely.” One more person wrote, “Lmao. This reminds me of a quote i read somewhere. “In this country a woman is a Goddess or a Tool to be used. Nothing in between.”
