X Factor UK star Stephanie Ternent Reid has died suddenly at the age of 36.
Her heartbroken mother Julie Reid confirmed the sad news in an emotional Facebook post as she paid tribute to her late daughter, who she called her “beautiful precious soul of a girl”.
“My world came crashing down around me yesterday morning along with a shattered heart broken into a million pieces that can never be repaired,” the gut-wrenching post read.

“Heartbroken doesn’t come close to how I feel since my beautiful precious soul of a girl Stephanie Ternent Reid gained her Angel wings so suddenly,” her post continued.
“Never ever did I think I would have to write a post like this. My precious girl, mum doesn’t know how to carry on without you but I will do my very best for your 2 beautiful babies and love and care for them just as you did with every bone in your body,” she said about the mother-of-two.
“You were the most loving kind thoughtful person to grace this earth and I am proud to call you my daughter life for me can never ever be the same but I promise your babies will know how amazing and loving their beautiful mummy was.”

She added: “Will miss you forever my precious baby girl sleep tight and keep me a seat until then I love you I love you I love you.”
Underneath the post, her mother received words of support and condolences from family and friends.

Stephanie lived in Edinburgh and was married.
According to Edinburgh News, she died on Monday after saying she was feeling unwell. Her death also reportedly comes just after she celebrated her first wedding anniversary.
Back in 2015, she auditioned for the UK X Factor in front of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole and is said to have impressed the judges.
