Stevie J Says Diddy Was “Hurt” That Cassie Assault Video Released
Stevie J is spilling major tea about Diddy in a recent sitdown for TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy Inside the Freak-Offs.
After backing Diddy through the storm of recent allegations, he’s now dropping some serious bombs.
During the interview, the music producer revealed that Diddy admitted to heavy drug use during what he called a “dark time.”
Stevie claimed the confession came after footage from a hotel camera surfaced, allegedly showing Diddy in a compromising position.
Stevie said he and the Bad Boy mogul had a heart-to-heart shortly after the video went public. “It was a real emotional moment,” Stevie shared. “He was hurt that that video came out—it crushed him.”
According to Stevie, Diddy chalked it up to being in a bad place. “He was just doing a lot of drugs, and it was dark for him,” Stevie said, echoing sentiments from Diddy’s controversial IG apology.
He also spoke on Diddy’s concern for how the video would affect his loved ones.
“He was like, ‘Yo, my daughters and my mom gotta see this,’” Stevie recalled. “And I was like, yeah, your friends gotta see it too.” Stevie shot down any notion that Diddy’s reaction was selfish. “Who wants to see themselves beating on a girl? I think that would hurt all of us,” he said.
This revelation adds to the growing allegations and public scrutiny surrounding Diddy, as he continues to avoid taking accountability.
“He was doing a lot of drugs.”
Stevie J shares details from his private in-person conversation with Diddy after the hotel video of Diddy beating Cassie came out and says he told Diddy he was hurt when he saw it.
