Taylor Swift Eras Tour: Most memorable moments from the Eras Tour | In Pictures

It was only fitting that during a tour celebrating all her eras of music, Swift would announce two of her re-recorded albums.

The pop singer has famously been releasing remastered versions of her previous albums after leaving her record label Big Machine Records in 2018 and not being able to have the master rights to her previous works.

To reclaim the copyright over her albums, Swift has been re-recording her works with new cover art and unreleased tracks, in what she has called the Taylor’s Version.

Prior to the Eras Tour, Swift had already re-recorded Fearless and Red, which, of course, gave us the 10-minute version of All Too Well.

But on May 5, 2023, during night one of her stop in Nashville, Swift shocked the crowd by announcing mid-show Speak Now would be her next re-mastered album.

“I think rather than me speaking about it…I thought I would show you, so if you would direct your attention,” she said on stage, as per Variety.

The singer then revealed the cover art on the screen behind her with the official release date confirmed.
