Katt Williams isn’t one to shy away from tackling a subject head-on, and 2024 proved to be no different for the controversial comedian.

Earlier this year, Williams appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, sparking widespread discussions after he predicted that the new year would be “the age of truth.” As time went on, his proclamations seemed to come to life, with fans referring to him as a “prophet.”
To add to the new title, Williams was dubbed “America’s Favorite Prophet” on Thursday at GQ’s Man of the Year event. During an interview with the hosts, Williams was asked if there were any more conspiracies that would be uncovered before the end of the year, and he clarified that his previous statements weren’t conspiracies.
“None of them were conspiracies, which is why they all happened. I believe we’re entering the golden age,”
the comedian said. “Right after the age of truth, the revealing is the scab being pulled off, and then the healing can begin.”
His response mimicked the no-holds-barred tone seen in his “Club Shay Shay” episode. In the conversation, Williams called a handful of high-profile celebrities, including Cedric the Entertainer, Kanye West, Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Diddy, Tyler Perry, and Jonathan Majors. At one point, Williams reflected on his successful career and revealed that his mission was to “expose.”
“I came in this business saying I was going to expose,” the “Next Friday” star said during the interview. “When I talked about Michael Jackson, when I talked about R. Kelly, they canceled me for these things because why would you talk about another Black dude? Race is not where the line is drawn. It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period.”
